Hi, I'm udernation and I make games, rituals, and participatory essays as Small Gods Press.
The games I make are known as lyric games, story games, or role-playing games. They are often about communication, grief and friendship, but I make no promises. They are sometimes dangerous games. Please care for yourself and your friends while playing them.
If you're not sure where to start, my most popular games are:
Sharehouse, a couch game for more than four players, about being young and single in house full of young, single people, about being unable to say how you feel and about intimate moments with your friends. It was inspired by Terrace House.
The Astronaut's Journal, a correspondence horror game for two players about being alone on a spacecraft hurtling through deep space. The Astronaut experiences a visitation, and does not reach their destination, but you do not yet know why, or what will happen on the journey.
Echo Radio, an asymmetrical communication game for two players about communicating with another version of yourself across dimensions, best played via audio recordings or voicemails. It is about information loss, and incomplete perception.
The Invitation, less a game than a ritual for as many participants as you choose, and an exploration of grief and mortality. This one is dangerous, consider carefully before playing it.
